We’ve been using Kids Korner since my oldest daughter was 6 weeks old- that was 6 years ago! Even after we moved, we continue to drive 12 miles out of the way to continue using Kids Korner. The teachers are kind and caring and learn the intricacies of each child. For example, with a room full of kids they know that my youngest daughter doesn’t like bread or cheese. When my oldest daughter was able to master a skill before her classmates, her teacher thought of creative ways to challenge her in that skill. The teachers take their own time to watch the girls perform in their dance demonstration- and cried right along with me when they saw how much my little girl had grown.

Staff retention is amazing for this line of work. Many of the same teachers have been at Kids Korner since we started 6 years ago. My girls feel comfortable with every teacher they’ve had. My husband and I have never had a concern with our children’s safety or care.

One of the biggest factors in choosing and staying with Kids Korner is the size of the facility and the active space for the children. My kids get indoor “gym time” or playground time literally every day they are at Kids Korner- summer or winter, rain or shine. It is so beneficial for them, both mentally and physically, to have active play time every day.

My girls think of Kids Korner as school, not day care. As soon as the kids are old enough to talk they are enjoying circle time and learning in a structured setting. My daughter’s kindergarten teacher commented on how prepared she was for school and gave me the credit. I turned around and gave the credit right back to Kids Korner. As far as a pre-school program, Kids Korner can’t be beat!

I have shopped around for a day care closer to my home but the value of the programs offered is much higher and the cost is significantly lower than those closer to my home. It is wonderful to be able to use the school age program for my oldest daughter when school is closed, too. Not every day care offers that option but it is so important to working parents.

I would recommend Kids Korner to anyone looking for child care for children aged 6 weeks and up. Now that we’ve been through all the programs offered, I can vouch for them all!
